The Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre is a non-profit charitable organization located in Maple Ridge, B.C.  The Centre offers Early Intervention therapies, (occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/language therapy), direct funding for respite and support to families with children who have been substance exposed, birth to age 19. The Centre believes that the family is the most important influence in a child's life.  The central goal is to provide timely, effective, family-centered intervention that will help all children achieve their fullest potential.  We are a CARF accredited agency.

The Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre is seeking a dynamic, energetic Executive Director.  Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the ED will provide operational leadership to all aspects of the RMCDC.  He/she will be responsible for the strategic development, resourcing of funds, supervision of personnel and ensuring operational excellence in service delivery while building meaningful relationships with staff, board and community partners.  In addition to the above, this individual will work towards further development and promotion of the RMCDC's presence and impact in the community.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in a field of human services or organization Management



  • 5 years’ experience in the management of non-profit organizations OR equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in CARF accreditation process
  • Experience in Human Resources and union contracts
  • Positive personnel management skills
  • Experience supporting a nonprofit Board of Directors
  • Experience working with children & families with diverse needs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
